Laura Davis Speech Therapy, LLC

Laura is a speech-language pathologist located in Fishers, Indiana who loves working with children and their families to improve communication and feeding skills!

Laura started her career in speech-language pathology 11 years ago. She earned a 

Bachelor's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Saint Louis University followed by a Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Indiana University. She holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and an Indiana state license in Speech Pathology. 

 

Laura has experience with infants and children of all ages and with a large variety of diagnoses. She has worked in the following settings: outpatient pediatrics at IU Health Methodist Hospital, First Steps early intervention, and inpatient and outpatient pediatrics at Ascension St. Vincent Hospital. Some of her unique experiences include working in the NICU with medically fragile infants, being a part of the St. Vincent craniofacial team specializing in the evaluation of cleft palate and performing nasopharyngoscopy; conducting pediatric videofluoroscopic swallow studies (VFSS); and participating in fiberoptic endoscopic evaluations of swallowing (FEES).

 

While Laura is most passionate about infant feeding and swallowing, articulation, and developmental speech and language, she also evaluates and treats in the areas of receptive and expressive language, social skills, augmentative communication, cognition, and toddler feeding. She focuses on individualized assessment and treatment of each child, collaboration with parents and caregivers, and building strong relationships with her clients to maximize results.

 

Laura lives with her husband and three young children. She enjoys running, working out, reading, baking and eating sweets, and playing outside with her girls.
